| LONG LIVE NEITZSCHE Beyond Good and Evil, Friedrich Nietzsche. Aphorism 41: “Those of us who are destined to be independent and to command must in return set ourselves our own tests-and set them at the proper time. We should not try to get out of our tests, even though they may be the most dangerous game we can play, and though they are really only tests performed for ouselves as witnesses and for no other judge. Not to be dependent on any one person, not even dependent on a fatherland, not even the most suffering and needy- it is certainly easier to detach your heart from a victorious fatherland. Not to be dependent on pity, not even if it were for higher men into whose extraoridinary suffering and helplessness we have accidently seen. Not to be dependent on any science, not even one that would tempt us with the most precious discoveries, seemingly reserved just for us. Not to be dependent even on your own detachment, on the voluptuous farway foreignness of the bird, who constantly flies up to ever greater heights so that it can see ever more beneath it-the danger of the flier. Not to be dependent on our own virtues, nor allow our wholeness to be sacrificed to some singularity about yourselves, our ‘hospitality’, for example, as is the danger of dangers for ardent and generous hearts who are pridgal, almost uncaring with themselves, and practice virtue of liberality until it is a vice. We must know how to preserve ourselves; the greats test of independence.” Half of my life is accomplished because my favorite philosopher just summarized my life’s dilemma in the most accurate manner. I WANT SELF-AUTONOMY, GODDAMNIT. mmm :) jana :)

| I'm exhausted...from working, being hurt, feeling sick...eh, it's so easy to complain when you're creating your own problems.
My roommate and I want to drop acid this weekend at blithewood mansion. Let's hope this doesn't happen.
Oh, and no drinking (I really want to keep this promise until spring break)

photobooth madness from the past

| So things are looking up. Friends drama is over (finally), I have possible roommates for next year, I'm almost done with my antibiotics (I'm eating again!) and I think I'm probably going to take lessons soon. My friends and I are thinking of going to the Outer Banks for Spring Break which is the beaches on the coast of North Carolina. I don't know if it'll happen though but it's a nice idea to think about lol
I am absolutely drained.

| I don't think I had ever, in my entire life, been in such an emotional AND physical roller coaster in the past three days. The worst part is, I don't realize how much stress I'm in until I have recovered.

sooo cute :)
